Veterinary Assistant – (she/her)

Jasmine is a dedicated Veterinary Assistant at the Cat Hospital of Tucson, where she began working in November 2025. An honors student at the University of Arizona, Jasmine is pursuing a double major in veterinary science and biochemistry, with aspirations of obtaining a DVM degree upon graduation. Her lifelong passion for animal care was evident from a young age, as she eagerly tended to stray animals in her neighborhood despite her parents’ cautions. At home, Jasmine enjoys the companionship of her domestic short hair cat, Mittens. In her free time, she indulges in reading and playing computer video games, and actively volunteers at the Southern Arizona Cat Rescue, further demonstrating her commitment to animal welfare.
