I was born in Sioux City Iowa and moved to Sierra Vista with my parents when I was a young age. As soon as I graduated from high school I moved to Tucson for college. I went to Pima Medical Institute and became a Certified Veterinary Assistant. I have had many different animals growing up, including a bearded dragon, rabbits, cats, dogs, cattle and horses. Now living on my own, I have one dog named Boss. He is the light of my life. I enjoy playing with Boss, watching movies and going to Sierra Vista to visit my parents.

I was born and raised here in Tucson. I grew up with dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, a rabbit, parakeet, sheep and horses. As a child I was involved in 4-H with chickens, sheep and finally horses. In my late teens and early 20’s I judged the 4-H horse show at the Pima County Fair and began training show horses. I attended Pima Community College and studies pre-veterinary courses. In 1991 I graduated from Pima Medical Institute as a veterinary assistant. I began working for Dr. Keyes when she opened Cat Hospital of Tucson in July of 1998. While I enjoy all aspects of my job my areas of interest are dentistry and radiology. In 2003 I passed the national and Arizona state veterinary technician licensing exams and became a Certified Veterinary Technician. My animal family consists of 4 cats, 2 dogs, 2 turtles and 2 horses.
