Veterinary Technician/Assistant

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled technical assistance in all areas of feline care, including examinations, treatments, surgery, and dentistry.
  • Obtain and record patient histories, vital signs, and weights.
  • Perform venipuncture, cystocentesis, and in-house laboratory procedures.
  • Administer and monitor anesthesia, fluids, and medications.
    • Assist with digital radiography.
    • Educate clients on preventative care and product usage.
    • Maintain accurate medical records and client communication.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician or Assistant.
  • Proficiency in handling, venipuncture, anesthesia, and dental/surgical procedures.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and client service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
